WHO ARE YOU REALLY?

The world will ostracise you, by glorifying a few around you who become celebrated and thus you may be demoralised after seeing and reading about what they are doing with their lives.

Grant Cardone, bestselling author, world’s #1 sales trainer, renowned speaker, international social media influencer and real estate mogul says “Don’t compare yourself to others. No one can play your role better than you “

On this occasion I would like to bring to your remembrance and attention that you matter and that you are born for a purpose.  I have always said that Self awareness is the first step in defining your identity. Therefore it is paramount for you to Figure out who you are and who you want to become.

The challenge is for you to set in place the 5 W’s  in your life. The Who, Why, What, Where and the When.  Former great Bahamian preacher Myles Munroe asserts that these are the 5  most pressing questions of the human heart.

  1. Who am I? Which is a question of identity

  2. Where am I from?  The source of one’s existence, thus identifying where you belong.

  3. Why am I here? The need to find out your purpose. You are not born to find your purpose, you are born with your purpose. Every seed has in it a tree.

  4. What can I do? Knowing your talents, capabilities and true potential and true power will definitely set you apart from the crowd. This will cause you to stand out. Find out what is that one thing that you can do to help someone else.

  5. Where am I going?  This bags the question of Destiny

So decide who you want to be and what you want to become because what you are today you decided.

I once heard of a bird in the mouth of a cat. The story describes a bird playing on the ground, and does not fly away when the cat makes advances towards it, and as expected it ends up in the mouth of the cat. Birds are by nature designed to fly, but cats are not. How come the cat manages to catch the bird? The simple answer is that the bird failed to realize that it had wings to fly, it failed to realize the purpose of the wings. All the bird needed to do was to spread its wings and fly away to escape from the predator.

Don’t be a bird in the mouth of a cat, know who you are, where you are from, why you are alive, see what you have and use it. It is essential to know who you are, and the purpose for which you  were created. Birds were made to fly. Likewise you were born to accomplish greater things, you can always better your best.

You were created on purpose, with a purpose, for a purpose.

Remember “Purpose is more powerful than plans, purpose is important than plans, and purpose precedes plans”. Myles Munroe
